Governor for Bomet Dr.Hillary Barchok has started drilling boreholes across the county. He is focused to drilling water in public institutions in an exercise that will cover the entire county.He said institutionsvto benefit include schools and health facilities that have not been connected to piped water.
Barchok said so far boreholes have been driiledvat various ponts with the government of Bomet aim at provision on suplementation of water for all.He said the county government intends to drill at least three boreholes in every ward and more than 80 public facilitiesbin the county are expected to benefit from the project in the financial year.
The residents of Siongiroi and Chebunyo wards have continue thanking the county government and urged the concern department to increase the allocation on water projects particularly boreholes and water plans to ensure borehole are drilled, equipped and pipeline laid for beneficiaries to get water of facilitate construction of boreholes that can sustain until the onset of rains.
