"We Are Not Criminals" Roselyne Akombe And Mbugua Says Sending a Warning Message To Police Over This

IG Mutyambayi has been awakened with this sad news from the former Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission commissioner Doctor Akombe Roselyne and Ian Mbugua.

Lately, there has been an increased outcry from Kenyans over police harassment. Youths have become the victim of circumstances following the recent move by the police.

Amid this, Roselyne Akombe has disclosed that the majority of Kenyans who have dreadlocks have been allegedly accused to be criminals. Police have been advised to respect the people with dreadlocks unless proved.

Mbugua said "Dear @PoliceKE @IG_NPS @NPSOfficial_KE as a father of a son with dreadlocks I am very disturbed about recent profiling of people with dreadlocks as criminals. Unless you have proof or warrants, leave them alone! You should know better than this!"

This message has forced Akombe to endorse the above message as she said

"As a person who proudly wears dreadlocks, I endorse this message." A young man was killed after allegedly suspected to be a thief in Kitengela and the young man lost his life.
