Popular philanthropist Ndungu Nyoro has come out to speak about Gladys Kamande, a woman who has been ridiculed by Kenyans online for the past 4 years since it turned out that she allegedly faked illness to get money from Kenyans.
Ndungu Nyoro who used his platform to raise funds for Gladys now says that Gladys was genuinely sick. Through a long post on Facebook, Ndungu said that the only reason why he had a dispute with Gladys is that she wanted to use the money raised for non medical priorities, something he was strongly against.
"My only dispute with her was because she wanted to use the raised cash for other nonmedical priorities which I disputed at the time because I felt she needed to be careful with the use of the donations." wrote Ndungu Nyoro in part.
Ndungu further said that he will soon get in touch with Gladys to get details on how she is progressing health wise. Here is a screenshot of his Facebook post;
