Uganda Communications Commission has announced a decision to ban airing of Bukedde TV’s Full Blast show after a fierce altercation between Pastor Martin Ssempa and Presidential Advisor on youth affairs, Jeniffer Nakangubi alias Full Figure.
According to the statement by the Uganda Communications Commission, the show had demeaning and abusive language, which is considered a violation of the law.The Communication further noted that the producer of the program did not provide professional control or guidance to the guests during the interview.
Part of the statement read as, "The host or presenter of the program, Mr. Godfrey Sseguya, failed to exercise the required professionalism and ability to control or guide the guests during the program, which resulted into a physical confrontation between Pastor Ssempa and Ms. Jennipher Namutebi Nakangubi."
Thr host, producer and Bukedde TV 2 was accused of gross unprofessionalism by failing to guide the guests to the point of allowing the show to degenerate into abusive verbal exchanges and physical altercations.
