14 people arrested in connection with Honourable Raila Odinga chopper stinking in Soy -Uasin Gishu County on Friday 1,2022

Fourteen people have been arrested in connection with the stoning of ODM leader Raila Odinga' s helicopter after the burial of Mzee Kibor .
Jason Gishu County Commissioner ,Stephen Kihara has said that the 14 people will be arraigned on Monday April 4 once the investigations are concluded.
Kihara said 7 police officers had been deployed to provide security when Rails Odinga arrived in Kabenes in Soy for the burial of prominent Jackson Kibor .
Kihara added that the key political leaders in the region have been linked planning the incident of yesterday .He said that the politicians will be also arrested to serve as an example to others .
Interior Cabinet secretary Fred Matiang'i on Friday night has condemned the attack and ordered that the people who were involved in the violence in Soy should be arrested and prosecuted.
