Mombasa Governor HE Abdulswamad Shariff has hinted through his official facebook page after his meeting with the East Breweries limited.
According to him during their meeting they agreed that all night clubs in Mombasa next to residential areas must be fully soundproofed.
"East Africa Breweries Limited is a holding company that sells wines, spirits and beer. As a company, they constitute more than 50% of the market and are Important stakeholder in the tourism economy
I hosted the Commercial Director of EABL Diageo Mr. Joel Kamau and his regional team to discuss a partnership through which EABL will work with the County Goverment of Mombasa to ensure compliance of entertainment spots.
We agreed that all night clubs in Mombasa next to residential areas must be fully soundproofed. Moreover, EABL shall ensure that they do not sell to any institution within close proximity Republic of Kenya to schools and/or religious institutions". Hon. Abdulswamad Shariff Mombasa Governor.
