Over the last few months, incidents of road accidents have increased significantly with many Kenyans losing their lives on the roads. According to data by the ministry of transport through NTSA, over 1000 people have lost their lives through road accidents since the turn of the year.
Carelessness among drivers coupled with bad roads have been identified as the leading causes of many accidents. The night curfew has also contributed to the increasing number of accidents since most vehicles are forced to operate during the day and thus leading to over congestion on the road.
Earlier today over 20 people are Feared to have lost their lives after another nasty road accident involving a bus. The accident happened at the famous Fort tenan hotspot. The accident involved Mbukinya Bus. The accident happens a few months after the dreaded home boys bus accident that killed 58 people at the same spot.
