Men Arrested Selling Drugs During Curfew Hours

Kitui county on the spot after three suspects were arrested for allegedly selling narcotic drugs( bhang and heroin) during curfew hours. The police at Mwingi town decided to take a move of holding them.The three suspects broke the curfew rule that has been put to start at exactly 10pm.

Paul Mumo and the two brothers, John Muasya and Joel Muasya aged between 23 and 24 were arrested while Hawking heroin concealed in seven sachets and 10 rolls of bhang.

Police officers believe that the trio intended to sell the illegal drugs to twilight girls who roam the town at night searching for so called "bread and butter." The suspects were taken into custody pending arraignment in court to answer the questions for being in trafficking and possession of narcotic drugs.

The illegal drugs has deteriorated the health of many youths and led to the poor performance in the society. Most of them have been fighting for their lives after excess use of these drugs in their bodies.
