A section of Nyandarua County -one of the ten counties in Mount Kenya- residents have Allegedly rejected relief food that they were being given with some residents from the background Shouting “Wacha zirudi! Hatutaki Azimio! Hatutaki!" Loosely translated as “Let them be returned! We do not want Azimio"
In a Video posted by Dennis Itumbi on his Twitter handle, Itumbi claimed that the free foods were ferried by Azimio leaders to Allegedly woo the region to support particular candidates, a claim that he did not give a proof.
From the video, residents who were largely speaking in Kikuyu and some little Kiswahili, one man is heard shouting that the food be returned as a man in the trailer is seen loading the foods wrapped or packed in white sacks “gunia" back to the vehicle.
