Happiness unfortunately turned to mouning this morning as the church members heading to weeding involve in bus accident olong Njuri, Tharaka Niti on the meru-Nairobi highways.
Members of Methodist church from Tigania west were heading to a weeding in Caren in Nairobi was reported to get accident at around 5 am in the morning.
The rescue team have been working hard to save the life's of victims. The accident was confirmed by Tharaka Niti, County disaster manager Alex mugambia.
" Survivors were taken to Chuka County Referral Hospital and four people, who we fear are dead, are still trapped in the wreckage," said Mr Mugambi.
The church chairman Joseph Limuli who did not travel with the team says that the bus lost his direction after the tyres bust."We are worried that the four who are trapped may be dead now because they are currently not responding to calls like before," said Mr Limuli.
