Somber mood has engulfed a Machakos family after an incident where a 29-year-old woman has died after being drowned in a swimming pool while having good time with her boyfriend.
Caroline Wavinya lost her life in the Saturday incindent which has sent many residents into a great shock, with many of them asking themselves, how the woman may have died while with her boyfriend.
According to the management of Highrise restaurant, the cause of the woman drowning has not yet been established, bearing in mind the fact that she was with her boyfriend identified as Brian Mutua who she taught how to swim.
Restaurants' customers who witnessed the incident told police officers that the two lovers were enjoying themselves at one point of the pool before the accident.
The body of the deceased was taken to Machakos Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem as the police lounch an investigation into the matter.
