Kenyans are currently facing the challenge of a hike in fuel prices. The issue has been a debate in many only online platforms and the parliament too. Citizens have been burdened with the issue in addition to high taxes imposed on products amid the Corona Virus Pandemic.
Fuel is an essential need since most of the manufacturing and transportation companies depend on it. This, therefore, means that an increase in fuel prices automatically increases the cost of other essential products.
According to a picture going viral online, police officers were spotted helping a bolt driver to push his car to a nearby filling station. This means that the car ran out of fuel without the consent of the driver.
The incident attracted lots of reactions from netizens. Some blamed the government for such a predicament while others hoped that the situation will change soon.
