A dramatic scene was reported in Mathare's Slum in Nairobi when an armed Gang attempted to attack Nairobi's Cop using a machete a move that provoked the officer who opened fire killing him instantly.
According to the report by Kenyans. co. ke, DCI sleuths were responding to calls from the members of the public who gave them a tip-off of what was happening. Having lacked an idea of how to escape the police, it is reported that the criminal threw his machete at the officers before his friends fled for safety.

“He turned back and attacked the corporal leading the chase with a machete, missing his jugular vein by a whisker.
"In a swift rejoinder, the officer opened fire fatally wounding the suspect,” DCI reported.
All the same, the development comes hours after Japheth Koome added that Police will deal mercilessly with criminals ahead of the Festive season.
