Reports of a nanny who had attacked her employer's family and ended up killing a 7-year-old kid being nabbed by police officers emerged online.
According to reports, a 25 years old lady by the name of Lydia Chelagat was on the spot after committing murder and inducing injuries to several people in her employer's family.
The incident happened early last month at a place known as Mariagat in Bomet. The suspect then ran into hiding after committing murder. Police officers have been on her neck day and night to arrest her.
Following on intelligent information, detectives managed to arrest her from one house in Bomet where she had hidden. She was taken to the police station awaiting to reign in court to face murder charges.
Incidents of nannies killing their employers or children of their employers have been so common in the country. Police officers cautioned employers to be watchful to whom they employ and whom they trust to stay with their children.
