The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have launched investigations into the mysterious death of a Kenyatta University Student.
Victoria Muthoni Theuri is said to have left her parents home in Kahawa Sukari on December 25th and informed her father that she was going to her sister’s place.
However, she did not visit her sister as alleged. She instead visited her boyfriend’s place in Kahawa Wendani.
Apparently the boyfriend left her in the house and went to his rural home to celebrate Christmas with his family.
On Thursday, neighbours became suspicious after they noticed an awful smell emanating from her boyfriend's house.
They informed the police who visited the scene and broke into the house. Upon gaining entry, they found her lifeless body in the sitting room.
The body was taken to the morgue for postmortem to ascertain the cause of her death.
Her boyfriend has been arrested as investigations continue.
