According to the Suna East Subcounty Police Commander,Hesau Ochokorodi,a sack which had blood stains was found dumped by the road at Awendo town by residents who were heading to work. The residents then called the police who rushed to the scene and upon opening the back,they could not believe their eyes after they found out that a beheaded body of a woman was what had been stuffed inside there.
None of the residents was able to identify the body of the young woman because it had to head. The police officers were suspecting that the head of the deceased might have been hidden by the criminals who attacked her. This incident has really brought a lot of tension in the area and the residents have asked the police to increase security in the area. Married couples were also asked to try and walk away from abusive marriages in order to avoid falling victims of such circumstances.
