An orange democratic movement (ODM) member of the national assembly has leveled severe allegations of fraud on President William Ruto, claiming that he is presiding over a project that is purportedly being run by fraudulent actors.
Hon. Otiende Amollo, a member of the national assembly representing the Rarieda constituency, has asserted, through the various social media accounts he maintains, that the mega hustler fund project spearheaded by President William Ruto is a scam.
He asserts that the financial inclusion fund is not rooted in law and that the cabinet did not allegedly approve the program as required by law. In addition, he claims that the fund is not anchored in law. He went on to assert, without offering any data to back up his baseless accusations, that the savings from the hustling fund go to individual pockets. According to what he said, the concept of the financial inclusion fund as a whole has to be reexamined.
"The Hustler Fund is a Scam; It Has Not Been Approved By The Ruto Cabinet; There Has Not Been An Approved Budget By Parliament; There Has Not Been An Approved Piece Of Legislation Or Regulation; It Charges Exorbitant and Illegal Interest Rates; It Keeps Savings In Private Pockets; It Makes Illegal Threats Against Defaulters Without Any Legal Support. These Matters Call for Contemplation! "he said.
