The husband of the woman who was shot dead alongside the lover of the Langata police has finally broken his silence on the sad incident.
On Sunday night, news broke of the sad incident that happened just a few minutes after the Liverpool versus Manchester United football match. According to various reports, it was revealed that a rogue cop had killed his lover and another neighbor before turning the gun on himself. Further reports later revealed that Corporal Mark Mulanda had ended the lives of his 28-year-old lover, Rhoda Chepchumba, and a 37-year-old neighbor, identified as Viola Jepkoech.
On Sunday evening, Corporal Mark Mulanda had been issued his Ak-47 gun to go and man a supermarket nearby. The officer pardoned himself and quickly rushed to his home, which was not far away. While there, one of the eyewitnesses revealed that the officer started shooting indiscriminately at anyone he saw. Sadly, one of his first victims was his neighbor, 37-year-old Viola, whom Mark found doing her house chores. It is reported that he fired two rounds at her, killing her on the spot. The rogue officer then proceeded to his own house, where he was staying with his 28-year-old lover. Mark fired seven rounds at her before finally turning the gun on himself.
The husband of 37-year-old Viola Jepkoech has finally broken his silence on the death of his wife. Enock Tirop, who is also an officer and a colleague of the man who murdered his wife, spoke to a local news outlet, and according to him, he had lost a wife who was loving to him and also a mother to his two kids. The late Viola had two lovely daughters with Enock Tirop.
Mark's colleagues have come out to reveal that their deceased colleague might have been depressed since, prior to the incident, he had talked about doing a similar incident to his wife at her rural home.
