According to the Kenyan Meteorological Department, rain is expected in various sections of the country over the next seven days. Kenya's meteorological service has long been a leader in providing timely forecasts to the public so they can fully plan and prepare.
In the Highlands East of the Rift Valley, the South-eastern lowlands, the coast, and the Highlands West of Rift Valley, as well as Lake Victoria Basin, Central and South Rift Valley, and parts of northern Kenya, rainfall is expected to continue, according to the Kenya meteorological department's weather forecast.
Kenya's northwest is expected to remain hot and dry for the time being. The end of the forecast period is expected to see a decrease in rainfall. The weather in the northwest is expected to stay sunny and dry. Some isolated storms may form over Narok and the Coastal Strip on occasion (Lamu, Tana River, Malindi, Mombasa & Kwale).
In the meantime, Kenyans should keep an eye out for the seasonal changes in the weather, which are already occurring.
