A teen mother from Trans-Nzoia County has revealed that her father's pastor preyed on her and impregnated her.
Nanjala, not her real name, is a primary pupil who is currently taking care of a baby she got after a preacher preyed on her when she was living with him.
She tells Citizen TV that she was living at the preacher's home when he decided to take advantage of her.
Nanjala noted that the preacher's wife was away when he showed up in her bedroom and demanded to engage her in adult acts.
She noted his father had financial problems, which forced him to ask the preacher for help, who offered to live with the teen.
"Mimba niliipata kwa pastor mwingine, vile alikua ni rafiki ya babangu, kwetu kulikua na shida, baba akashindwa kunilea kisha akanipeleka kwa yule mchungaji juu aliona ni rafiki yake," said Nanjala, which loosely translates to
(I conceived after a pastor preyed on me, he was my father's friend, and since we had financial problems, my father allowed me to live at his (pastor's) place)
She is planning to go back to school and continue with her studies.
