Heavy Rain Expected In Kilifi

January, February September, and November are known to be the time when most parts o the country are experiencing high temperatures due to long durations of sunlight.Counties to the northern part of Kenya and partly the coastal region always are faced with shortages of food during this time. Drought kicks hard and since these places receive little rainfall annually, the food market is always less.2021 being a unique year, even the rain patterns have shifted gradually. It has been reported that the regions of Kilifi are expected to receive heavy rainfall and this is true since yesterday it did rain in Kilifi around pwani university.

Even though the rainfall was not heavy, we can say it at least rained in Kilifi. As the expectations of many are that it should rain heavily we should also be informed that kilifi received convectional rain which rains in hot afternoons and for a very short of time.
