The newly opened Ksh 78.2 billion worth Nairobi expressway for trial has attracted alot of debate among Kenyans. Motorists continue to raise alot of challenges and the relevance of the highway. The highway was anticipated to help in reducing the heavy traffic snarl up and accidents experienced along Mombasa road especially in the morning & evening hours.
However, the anticipated reduction ot traffic congestion along the route seem not to cease. According to a post shared by Ma3Route on twitter, photos of the situation along the road at around 7.00 pm left Kenyans Talking. The aerial photos taken at Mlolongo Bridge indicated a heavy traffic snarl up stretching for kilometers.

In a similar post shared by Ma3Route, an incident involving a saloon vehicle that lost control and broke the road metallic gauge/mesh along the route resurfaced.
