What Two Senior DCI Detectives Told Raila Face to Face That Forced Him to Leave After Being Blocked

Raila Odinga, the leader of Azimio la Umoja, appeared at the Directorate of Criminal Investigation's offices at Mazingira House on Kiambu Road on Tuesday. At the DCI offices, former CS Dr. Fred Matiang'i was also being questioned.

The DCI detectives, on the other hand, told the leader of Azimio la Umoja that he was not wanted at the location and to turn away. Raila Odinga was told by the DCI that his presence at the DCI headquarters was unnecessarily escalating the situation.

The head of police operations, Said Kiprotich, and the head of investigation, Eliud Lagat, reportedly went outside to talk with Raila Odinga as a group of Azimio la Umoja supporters had reportedly started to assemble near the DCI headquarters.

Just today, former CS Fred Matiangi arrived at the DCI office to give out the evidence from previously unknown people who stormed his house in Karen.

Matiangi himself claims that the people who stormed his house were police officers. What the DCI officers told Azimio Party Leader Raila Odinga when he arrived at the DCI office immediately when Matiangi's lawyer was representing him there .
