Folks from the Lakeside City of Kisumu are always full of surprises. Their shocking revelations have always made them perceived by others as the most popular and innovative tribe in Kenya.
Well, the perceptions may be true if what a man known as Engineer Awuonda did is to go by. On Thursday,July 29,2021 Engineer Awuonda was spotted along Kisumu-Nairobi Highway driving a Roofless Peugeot,plate No.KTV 678, something that sparked a huge debate online.
To those who identified the engineer so fast, described him as a great innovator and think tank, saying he hails from Nyalenda estate in Kisumu. Others relating his innovation to the popular UDA phrase 'bottom up' approach.
"Mae e bottom up? Lich manade kisumu ka.( Is this the bottom up? It is not easy here in Kisumu)," said Peter Ombwayo.
According to Gabriel Ochieng, a kisumu resident, Kisumu is ahead in terms of creativity. Engineer Awuonda converted his Peugeot car to a roadster before slaying on Kisumu-Nairobi Highway.
