
Ruth Gicheru, the widow of late lawyer Gicheru who died after at his Karen home emotionally narrated her last moments with him during a requeim mass yesterday at Regina Caeli Catholic church in Karen.
Ruth revealed that the Monday before his death, he held her hand and assured her that nobody would ever separate them. She emotionally said that it is hard to accept that he is no longer there but believes that God will be there for her and the kids.
Gicheru's mother Josephine Wambui who had earlier raised concerns on the cause of death was absent at the service.
Lawyer Gicheru will be laid to rest on 6th October at his Bahati home in Nakuru county.
He died on 26 th September after he took lunch and felt unwell. After feeling unwell, he went to bed to rest. Sadly, his lifeless body was found at 7PM. His son who had also taken the lunch collapsed.
