A lady in Siaya County has been left nursing injuries after she was attacked and brutally beaten by a man believed to be her boyfriend. 
According to sources, the alleged man attacked the lady where he even tried to stab her with a kitchen knife but the neighbours were fast to rescue the lady.
According to residents, the lady scream for help and that's when they rushed at the scene only to find the man holding a kitchen knife ready to stab her.
The area police officers arrived at the scene immediately and managed to save the suspects life who was almost lynched by the angry mob.
The suspect was arrested and taken to Siaya police station while the victim was rushed to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
The area police boss condemned the action taken by the suspect where he urged couples to always seek counseling to solve their marital problems.
