DCI on twitter,they have shared information that an AK 47 rifle loaded with 26 rounds of ammunition was today recovered after Toyota probox enroute to Moyale from Marsabit was intercepted by police officers.
According to DCI, a 24 year old ROb Diba Dabasa was also Arrested, having chambered one of the rounds in readiness to fire.
This is what they posted on twitter,
"An AK 47 rifle loaded with 26 rounds of ammunition was today recovered after a Toyota Probox enroute to Moyale from Marsabit was intercepted by officers.24-year-old Rob Diba Dabasa (the lone driver) was also arrested, having chambered one of the rounds in readiness to fire. https://t.co/bx1Vs8Xuzp"
They continued saying that,"Suspect placed in custody pending arraignment, with the recoveries including the motor vehicle Reg. No. KCY 331V being secured as exhibit.Call 0800 722 203 to speak anonymously to the DCI. Usiogope!!"
