Kenya Meteorological Department has shared a detailed regional weather forecast as from tomorrow until next week. Report indicates that Highlands West of Rift, the Lake Victoria Basin and the Central and South Rift including Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Bometi, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia and Kakamega counties are expected to receive rains as from tomorrow over few places. Weatherman reveals that most places are expected to receive sunny intervals.
Mornings are likely to sunny except on Thursday when rainfall is expected over a few areas, afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected over few places during the first half of the weather forecast period. Members of the public urged to prepare adequately before that time comes.
Maximum temperatures are expected to be generally high in siba. While minimum temperatures are likely to be generally low.
Therefore the North Western Kenya especially Turkana and Samburu counties are expected to receive sunny intervals and nights partly cloudy. The Highlands East of Rift Valley including Nairobi Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Murang'a, Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru and Tharaka Nithi and Nairobi Counties are expected to receive rains as from tomorrow onwards.
Days are likely to be generally sunny and nights partly cloudy. However, occasional morning showers are expected as well as afternoon showers over few places.
North Eastern parts of the country especially Mandera are likely to experience high maximum temperatures up 37 degrees. Minimum temperatures are expected to be as low as 27 degrees Celsius.
The South Eastern Lowlands especially Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, Kajiado and Taita Taveta counties are expected to receive rains also. Morning rains and afternoon showers are expected over several places within this region. Finally parts of the Coast especially Mombasa, Tana River, Kilifi, Lamu and Kwale counties are also expected to receive rains as from tomorrow.
According to the report shared morning rains are expected over few places as from day one of the weather forecast period until next Monday.
