Residents and bypassers celebrated with a great feast after a grizzly road accident occurred along Nyeri Nyahururu highway involving two lorries where one was carrying fresh onions while the second was packed with cakes, donuts, and mandazis.
The two lorries crashed head-on collusion spilling the contents they were packed with on the road, but luckily both drivers escape only with minor injuries but they could not do anything to protect their products since most of them were spilled all over and some destroyed.
People celebrated the incident with the cakes donuts and mandazis, collecting enough for two days' breakfast while others also managed to take home some fresh onions that they can use for several days.
The accident might have been caused by the heavy rain that is being experienced in the region, with most that reduce visibility, and it's therefore important for drivers to be extra careful during this rainy season by ensuring that they reduce the speed to some manageable level incase of anything.
