Residents of Flyover at the outskirt of Kitale town were treated to a shocking scene after a suspected thug started eating grass like an animal.
According to sources, the young man was in a group of three who have reportedly been stealing cattle in the area.
However, things seem to have gone south after they stole a cow from one of the local farmers .
Police officers who toured the scene managed to control an angry crowd that was building up at the scene.
They also managed to rescue the suspected thug from the irate crowd before he was lynched.
According to several eyewitness who spoke to the media, this young man might have been bewitched by a local farmer after they stole his cow.
Residents have also decried the increased number of criminal activities around the area with thugs robbing and even Killing innocent locals at their own peril.
Cops have however assured all villagers of a swift operation in the area to help curb these worrying trends
