Residents in Murang'a county are still flabbergasted by a quick robbery incident that took place early today. Four thugs approached a Unaitas Sacco branch pretending to be guards.
The thugs first approached a policeman who was manning the entrance. They hit him in the head after getting closer to him and engaging him in a stupifying talk. The officer was hit with a metal.
The thugs then entered in where they ordered everyone to lye down or die. They quickly went to the money box and and stole millions of money estimated to between 3.5 million and 5 million.
During their escape, they opened fire to frighten people and shot one person who got badly injured. Then men then ran away with the gun they had taken from the officer who was hit with a hard metal in the head.
The Sacco branch is now closed as investigations and probe for the four thugs is being launched. The suspects are said to be people who knew the branch inside out because their robbery mission was swift and certain.
