The effect of covid-19 in the country has affected the livelihood of most Kenyans in the country. In addition to that, it has as also interfered with the activities of those that are engaged in night shift activities.
Following the latest curfew imposed by president Uhuru Kenyatta, some of few members of night runners from Suba South in Homabay county are currently pleading with president Uhuru Kenyatta and his brother Raila Odinga to do away with the curfew.
They stated that their tradition of involving in the activity at night has been interfered with since the curfew was imposed. They added that the security personnel does not give them humble time at night to conduct their activity.
The region is believed to be the hot spot of night runners and the latest curfew by the government has hindered their activity a lot. They are currently pleading with Uhuru because they believe they have a right to do so. Nightrunners
