"RIP" Disbelief After A Grade 6 Child Died After She Was Sent By The School To Do This

The residents of Nambale in Busia county are mourning the sudden demise of a young boy who died on his way home from school.

It was reported that the grade 6 child died after he was sent home to collect sh. 50 to cater for examinations. The painful death occurred after he asked his friend to accompany him to their usual river, for swimming.

The pupil identified as Amase drowned and could not control the water, leading to his death. His friends alerted the villagers who arrived at the scene and retrieved the body.

The villagers retrieved the body which was later taken to Busia Couty referral hospital as the investigation continue.

However, the angry residents have blamed the school for sending the child for such an amount of money, without notifying the parents. Others preferred that the teacher could have called the parent and ask for money than sending the child home.

Who is to blame for this? Kindly comment to help someone, somewhere.
