Residents who are travelling using the northern bypass should be extra careful while using that road as police officers are trying to cool down angry residents who are demonstrating. Residents of Kahawa West are demonstrating as they are claiming that a police officer allegedly killed one of the people while they were carrying out the demolition of shanties. They claimed that it is not the first time for such cases to happen and they have decided to air their grievances through this act.
Furthermore, they revealed that security personnel should have informed them before conducting the destruction. They claimed that they have lost goods worth millions of money and they have nothing to depend on. However, the police officers have declared that they will do the investigation to determine if those who were executing it killed the aforementioned man. He urges the residents to stay calm and also allow passengers to travel safely. Check out this link: https://www.facebook.com/272541209938500/posts/1131418170717462/?app=fbl
