Shimo la tewa junction road traffic police officer Jeffrey Kent, said the ill-fated bodaboda motorbike and the car where headed towards Jomvu when the Wednesday evening road accident happened.
"The car rammed the motorbike from behind knocking down the bodaboda rider before running over them killing him on the spot," he said
The traffic police officer, said they are yet to receive motor vehicle inspection results to unravel the cause of the accident.
"At as at now, we are unable to unravel the root cause of the Wednesday evening accident.The car lost control of the vehicle due to puncture. We are yet to determine what cause the accident," he said.
Jeffrey said, that the driver of the saloon was still grilled by his fellow motorists over the accident.
He urged the motorists to always adhere to the traffic rules and regulations while cruising along the busy road.
The body of the deceased was moved to Coast General Hospital morgue pending autopsy.
