CCTV Video Of How The Accident Happened At The Nairobi Expressway Mlolongo exit

The Nairobi Expressway exit at Mlolongo was on Monday evening 4th July closed off temporarily following an accident that occurred during the rush hour. The crash involved two vehicles, an Embasava bus and a personal vehicle which left severalepople nursing injuries with both vehicles toppling over.

According to the video, both vehicles were on the exit lane of the newly constructed road. The embasava which was over speeding ramed into one of the toll booths that had an attendant inside, but luckily the attendant is said to have sustained minor injuries in the evening accident.

"Yes, the road has been closed and all traffic directed to exit at the Syokimau toll station," a source within Moja expressway told our reporter. It is reported that about 20 passengers and 1 worker were injured too and are being treated.

Kenya National Highways Authority (Kenha) in a statement confirmed the accident and urged motorists to use the Syokimau toll station to either enter or exit the Expressway.
