Hellen Wendy Nyabuto, who drowned in Ontario, Canada, died on Saturday. Her body arrived in the country on Saturday.
Before her October 3 burial in Kisii, her body was brought aboard the Ethiopian Airlines at 1.05 p.m. (EAT).
On August 18, 2022, Wendy went down while swimming live on Facebook.
On September 27, Wendy's parents and other members of her family traveled to Canada and paid a visit to the swimming pool where she died.
The body of Wendy was brought back to her family's house by them.
Prior to the tragedy, Hellen Wendy, whose Facebook profile indicates that she was a nurse living in Toronto, Ontario, was in a cheerful mood.
Kenyans living in Canada reminisced about Wendy.
Hundreds of people attended her memorial service at the Toronto Swahili Seventh Day Adventist community church to say goodbye to the young soul.
Through a video link, Wendy's family in Kenya's Bomachoge Chache village in Kisii County watched the events.
