Agnes was found dead on Wednesday, the 13th of October 2021 at her home in Iten, which is in Elgeiyo Marakwet County. According to sources Agnes had been living alone after separating with her husband following domestic violence related cases. But it was noted that the two had reunited before her body was found lifeless in her home.
Through his Facebook account, Sonko has shared some beautiful photos of Agnes and her alleged Husband. Sonko went ahead to claimed that the Husband who is the first suspect in the case is currently on the run and his phone had been switched off.

The death of Agnes has called caught many people surprised as she was a public figure who rose into fame following her archievement. She Will be remembered for her Olympic victory where she won Several Gold Medals.
