Drama today at Lake Nivasha when police acting on intelligence arrested several people enjoying the view at the lakeside and breaking the Covid-19 rules.
Many were caught drinking inside their vehicles some were totally drunk and couldn't stand.
However lucky ones manage to drive off as others fled on foot leaving their cars and motorcycle behind.
The majority of those arrested seemed to be young and had visited the area in the company of their loved ones for enjoyment.
Seems like it has been a norm for many of them as they tried talking their way out of arrest but police could hear none.
The area has been a hideout for people engaging in immoral acts and also young boys and girls often visit the area Nakuru East DCC Erick Wanyonyi told reporters
A total of 40 people were arrested and 35 cars impounded following the crackdown here is the video.
