Bajila Kofa, Senior Kenya Wildlife Service officer, was executed by unknown gunmen outside Meru National Polytechnic along Meru-Nanyuki Road. The officer was going back home after dropping his kids at school when he got ambushed and executed.
Speaking to Nation Africa, his brother said that the deceased had a premonition about his death and his latest Whatsapp post showed the same. He further alleged that the 43-year-old was a man in distress as he feared unknown men had been trailing him but he was unbothered most of the time.
“When God is about to take you to a greater level, everything will go crazy. Friends will betray you. You will be left alone. In that very moment, God will be your only source and He alone will take the glory,” the post read as quoted by the media house.
The third born in a family of 10 also called his brother the day when the incident happened to inform him that he was unsafe.
In a twist, initial investigations showed that Kofa was fell by professionals who even picked spent cartridges and from the execution they seemed to be well trained. However, the police who made the statement have now distanced themselves from the allegations.
The officer's body is currently at Montezuma Monalisa funeral home where it will be deterred on Friday, September 10, at Kipini Matangeni village home in Tana River County.
