The business tycoon Jimmy Wanjigi has finally been realised on free bond after no charge against him was brought to the court. He has been realised unconditionally as no evidence was tabled to make him follow with court proceedings and he described his arrest as politically motivated.
Jimmy Wanjigi was keen to note that he received the best reception at Kamukunji police station where they kept checking on him. He highlighted how the officers who arrested him were peaceful where they ensured he slept for a few hours before he was arraigned in court. Wanjingi said that this was the first time he spent a night in a police cell where he had a wonderful experience. He was keen to note that his arrest was politically motivated and he promised his opponents that he was not going to step down for anyone.
He particularly stated that the officers kept checking on him throughout the entire night which guaranteed his safety.
