The new inspector-general of police Japhet Koome landed in kiganjo under tight security to preside over his first dress rehearsals for the police who are now expected to graduate in a few days time at the institution.

This Coming just a few days before the head of state William ruto is also expected to land at the institution on the 10th of January as the guest of honour to oversee the passing out of the over 1,500 new police who are expected to be absorbed in the Kenya police unit.

In today's events at the inspector-general of police was accompanied by several top officials from the side institution who have trained the team to become knowledgeable of the of conduct of the police in the Republic.

This will be the first time that the head of state together with the new inspector-general of police will be presiding over the vents in the past regime led by Uhuru kenyatta relinquished power to the new administration.
