Recently Eldoret had made headlines after an alleged activist was brutally murdered. Edwin Chiloba is said to have been stucked into a metallic box dressed in female clothings. His family have opened up refuting claims that he was involved in gayism. According to NTV media the family talked of him being a religious and holy person.
In a statement, they stated "Our son was not gay, he was a pastor." This was after people claimed he had been fighting for gayism rights. The suspect behind his murder was arrested and confessed he was the one after he allegedly cheated on him.
