Masten Wanjala's Family Disowns Him, Won't Burry Him for Fear of Contacting Curse.

The family of self-confessed murderer Masten Wanjala has disowned him, vowing to not lay him to rest.

Wanjala, who confessed to killing quite ten children, was lynched within the evening of Thursday, October 14, on a daily basis after escaping from custody. However, chatting with Nation, the family of Mzee Robert Watila, Wanjala's father, said they weren't able to bury the 20-year-old for fear of contracting a curse.

The family even skipped the suspected killer's post-mortem which was performed by homicide detectives at Bungoma County Referral Hospital mortuary.

Mukhweya's Assistant Chief Abiud Musungu said Wanjala's family had turned down calls from authorities to require a DNA test and bury their son. Musungu said the family, which changed tune and suddenly disowned him immediately he was lynched, refused to try to to so saying they need longer to consider the matter.

The chief said the govt can be forced to bury the suspected killer should his family maintain their stand. Wanjala's neighbour, Davis Wafula, said as a clan, they didn't want to be related to him since he had ashamed them.

In other news, the stepfather and guardian of Wanjala came resolute represent the primary time since the suspect was lynched in Bungoma.

Antony Ndonye Nzau, who runs a welding business, said he married Wanjala's mother when the deceased was three years and assumed the role of a stepfather and a caregiver. Nzau disclosed that Wanjala was very bright at school before turning into a naughty boy. He said despite seldomly attending classes, nobody would beat him.
