There was drama in Nyandarua today morning after a 60-year-old woman tied her hands with a chain besides the gate of Nyandarua county government demanding to be paid for a tender that she was given.
Hannah says that she was given a tender worth 139 million Kenyan shillings but out of all that money, she has only been paid 60 million so far.
For two years, she has been going to the offices every day to demand her pay but she keeps being taken round in circles.
Most of her property has been taken by banks and other financial institutions that lended her the money she needed to complete the tender.
Nyandarua county government has not yet spoken to the media on why they are yet to pay Hannah her money.
Hannah built side walks and a drainage system along a main road in Nyandarua.
People who worked as her labourers when she was a contractor also begged the county government to pay her.
