Mama Prisca Orembo, the church's women leadership leader said they discovered the robbery when they went to church on Sunday morning. The bold thugs broke into the church as well as the preacher's residence and made away with the preacher's clothing including his underwear.
They then made their way to the kitchen where they also took food that was kept there. The congregation was left shocked and puzzled at why thieves would even dare take away food and underwear from a church.
They also took 2500 shillings that had been there without giving a care. A gas cooker was also taken as well as altar clothes. The residents are now urging the police to speed up investigations and catch the thieves.
