RIP: Photos Of Judith Adhiambo A 40-Year-Old Kenyan Lady Who Died In Saudi Arabia

A Nakuru man is in pain after he received news that his wife had died in Saudi. His wife went to Saudi in June this and was set to return on November 28 but it is on that same day that she died after allegedly tripping in the bathroom. The woman even called the man and their kids on November 27,to inform them that she would fly home the following day but that did not happen. On November 28,the man received a disturbing call in which he was informed his wife had tripped in the bathroom and died on the spot.

According to Kenya's foreign ministry,89 Kenyans have died in the Gulf nation in the last two years, with more than half of them being female domestic workers.Only three deaths were reported in 2019.

The most common causes of death are cardiac arrest, natural death,or suicide. Many families are skeptical, and rights groups believe the deaths are linked to an increase in domestic worker abuse.

Officials in neighboring Uganda have also expressed concern about the recent deaths of its nationals in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
