The thieves who were riding on a motorbike were stopped by concern villagers who wanted to know the whereabouts of the baby that was wrapped in a massai cloth and a cap.
Upon confrontation, the villagers discovered that the two were ferrying a sheep and not a child as they had claimed.
The two suspects whose identity was not revealed were taken to Kibugu Police station after receiving minor beatings from the villagers.
The owner of the sheep was able to retrieve his sheep. He asked the youth to put their energy in constructive work.
Some of the netizens who have shared their views said that the thieves were very creative and they had not seen such a thing.
