The little known road in Muramga county which is well known for drugs alcohol and sex related crimes

Wanyee Road, located in the town of Maragua, Muranga county, is the only 24-hour commercial road used by the criminal industry, where the law sleeps at 11pm and rules the jungle.

The nearly 50-metre-long street is famous for alcohol, violence, sex and drugs, but the gangs that rule it don't know who's strong and who's weak. Moreover.

"When all the other pubs in town close at 11:00 p.m., everyone with an appetite for adventure comes to this street... The end result is a gathering of good and evil, and the result is a moral It's a running crime that doesn't know." Street merchant Joseph Kanji.

Area guards see and hear no evil, but have received police reports from victims describing the types of crimes that have occurred on the streets, and continue to treat them as normal occurrences.

The Safety Commission reports that police departments receive an average of five complaints a day related to road-related accidents. "People have been violently robbed, sexually assaulted, kidnapped, and eventually robbed and dumped by boda boda drivers... two recently attacked by criminal-wielding machetes. I believe that the security guards, including the administrators of , are no big deal," said Mr. Kanji.

Gangs are so feared that few report the atrocities committed against them to the police, and those who do fail to find witnesses to support their arrest and prosecution.

But he argues the accusation is dangerous because some victims are police officers who are known as criminal accomplices who ultimately help criminals exact revenge on those who resisted arrest. Some people do.

What drives the street is the alcohol trade driven by a few amoral tycoons, the proximity to the low-income Mathare Estate, and the nearby village that uses it as a night base. was captured by a gang.
