The newly appointed Nakuru police commander Peter Mwanzo has started off on a higher not to eradicate the criminal activities. Mwanzo's administration has reportedly arrested the man behind the beheading of a woman and a man in Nakuru. The suspect was arrested in Bomet after the police were directed to him by the relative. After cracking down on other criminal gangs in Nakuru, Mwanzo resorted to dealing with other criminal activities in the county.

Nakuru police in their report said that the 22-year-old man was arrested after a woman was found brutally killed with her head missing. Such Incidents though rare but are reported and police are working to arrest culprits involved. School going children were reported to have found another body on the road on their way to school brutally murdered. Kenyans on social media have congratulated the new administration under Peter Mwanzo and recommended his work of working tirelessly to wipe out the criminal activities in Nakuru.
